Nation of Five
Much of my attention as of late has been on my new group, Nation of Five. We tracked four tunes live-in-studio while filming the entire process. The release show for the new album is April 30 at the Queen Theater in Wilmington, DE. Come out and support! Here's one of the performances from the record; our rendition of Chick Corea's "Spain."

Also, I just did an interview for the Celtic Music Fan blog, based out of the Philippines! You can check out the interview HERE. Many thanks to Baxter at the blog. Follow him on Twitter @mrbaxteria.

A New Shade of Green

My new solo record is out! A New Shade of Green is across the board, truly. Think traditional Irish music + Foo Fighters + Genesis + Incubus + Iron Maiden + a dash of Bill Withers. Yep, all over the place, but it all comes together in this project and manages to make sense. The goal was to make a record that was still "one of my records," but pose some big challenges along the way. I hope you dig it as much as I do.

The digital release is available immediately, for $5 on Bandcamp (or even more if you're feeling especially generous). Physical copies will be available at my shows Thursday-Saturday this week and then from there on. Now...where to find some green beer...

Marching On

I just did a video shoot of my live solo material with Iredia Ekhato, including the video above. Check out the others on my YouTube channel. Besides that, I have several other new videos in the works, plus 2 new albums -- one with my new quintet NATION and one solo record just in time for St. Patrick's Day. I've been reworking traditional Irish music into progressive rock and fusion instrumentals. Needless to say, it's been a LOT of fun. This month I'll be performing at the TLA with Dice Raw of the Roots and with Alfred James Band at the Kimmel Center, plus several bar/club dates and possibly some touring late in the month.
